Which brand is this?
Which brand is this?
Hi I am considering buying this, I wondered if anyone could tell by the picture what brand it is? Or at least a guess of possibilities? It is a 1997 model with apx. 1100 sq ft, 3 bed 2 bth, thats all I know. Thanks!!
Re: Which brand is this?
If you're considering buying it, I would assume you can get inside to look around.
Check for a manufacturer label on one of the doors of the cabinet that houses
the kitchen sink. That should have the information you seek.
good luck

Re: Which brand is this?
I found out it was a champion infiniti, I think it was model 221 with the dining room converted into a 3rd bedroom, it had the tiniest rooms I've ever seen. The realtor found the model info on the outside.
Also, Ive been calling around on the Champion Infinity 280 and the base price is $68,703, here in southern CA, that seems like a lot for a base price. Has anyone seen it priced any different?
Update on me and my future hubby:
My fiance and I went to look at some MH's and now he wants one! And, he is willing to live in Corona! We are trying to find land to put it on, and we are going to go look at the infiniti 280's this weekend.

Cheryl,
Just thought I would add.... I have been keeping up with your post and I am going through the same thing with my husband. He didnt want anything to do with the MHs untill I made him go with me and take a look. Now he wants one. We are also looking in Corona. However I think we will decide on Riverside. Bravo MH parks(2) are nice and I have seen some really nice ones in there for pretty reasonable prices. Anyways, just thought I would share my experiance with you since we are looking in the same area. Good luck.

We just put a Karsten triplewide on our land. It is just over 2000 square feet - base $69,995, we optioned it up a bit. This, on a slab foundation with concrete block skirting , totalled around $100K. So far we truly love it.
Mac & Jen
That's great to hear Jen, let me know how it goes! We're trying to find a small piece of land in Corona to put it on, maybe 1/4 acre or so. The place we looked at was a used 97 MH (champion infinity 221) It was only about 1080 sq ft and it was on a .29 acre plot of land and they were asking $157,000 - rip off!!! There was no landscaping or anything, it was all dirt with patches of dry grass, no trees/plants/flowers, and the floors were all bumpy and sloping when you walked on them. There was a big hole on the outside near the foundation, and I saw lizards going inside there. Plus the rooms were way too small, one was only about 8x8. The only thing good was the porch!
Im glad you are happy with your purchase Mac, so were your set-up fees about $30,000 or less because of the added options? Ive been trying to estimate the set-up costs so I know how much land and home we can afford. Two others I spoke to said between #35,000-$45,000 Im not getting a garage, and the land is already flat and right next to everything (water, electricity, telephone) so I was hoping it would be closer to the lesser amount.

Re: That's Good News!
Well, I don't know if I DARE to creep back into this discussion since the last time I put in my two cents worth, but I'll just jump right in, 'cause I'm a SURVIVOR!
Just want to say that I'm glad your fiance' is seeing how nice M-H's are. That condominium/townhouse idea would've driven you nuts. I hope you find the land you're looking for and that everything turns out great!
By the way, I love those two windows on the side of the M-H you're considering. If there's anything I HATE - it's these houses they're building now (site-builts are the worst offenders) that have NO windows on the side of the house! DEPRESSING!
Good luck with your land search!
