First, I'm wondering if they are only sold in Florida? I searched for a retailer and it didn't give any choices outside of FL on the site I was on.
Second...if they are a division of Champion Homes, and if they are such a great home, why is Champion closing down plants and sales centers right and left? A friend of mine works at a Champion dealer and he said they will soon be getting a lot of homes from closed-down dealers and be able to sell them at huge savings, but if Champion is in trouble, I don't even want to consider buying one of their homes. And why can I not buy a HOM from my Champion dealer if it is a division of Champion?
I'm confused about Homes of Merit....sm
Re: I'm confused about Homes of Merit....sm
Each division of Champion is independent of each other...Much like
Ford owns Masda...but has little to do with the daily operation....
Homes of Merit has 2 factory locations...by the way 25% of all homes sold in FL are Home of Merit..
Web sites...www.homes-of-merit.com
www.homesofmerit.net
The .com address is the factory in Lake City, Fl and probably has many more dealers outside of Florida.../
Also you can go to www.championhomes.net and search for dealers by zip code..
