we are purchasing a cavalier town and country powerhouse and i have a question about the flooring. They offer" 6' x8' tongue and groove 13/16" novadeck flooring, resin coated then fastened to floor joists. alpha glued and shank nailed in a staggered layout." Is this better than plywood floors, or are we right in requesting the option of plywood flooring which will cost us $1000.00? please help!

I am a big Cavalier fan.....BUT...you should buy a couple of options..

Floor...OSB at 900 or plywood at 1000 is something you MUST have...

Second...be sure to get the Zome 3 insulation option...Silly to have thermo pane windows and inferior insulation......

We got an announcement yesterday....Price increase...effective the morning of 7/23...You still have time to beat the increase...BUT...after the 23rd the factory is taking all service obligations....before the 23rd..the dealer is responsible for ALL cosmetic repairs...If the dealer has on site service this is ok...if he does not it might be worth waiting..

Good Luck

On the promotional homes...Cavalier has written aggreements with the dealers that they are responsible for the cosmetic items..

Cavalier will not run the 1 free service call on the Power House, LSK, American Prides and the MSK...

Of course...they will resume the full service program on all homes built after 7/23...after the price increase...
