Mold Accumulation

This is further to my question a week or so ago about the double-wide with the warped kitchen floor. You mentioned the probability of mold accumulation due to faulty dryer venting. Would this mold cause an unpleasant smell thoughout the house? I thought the place might just need airing out, but the smell was definitely there. I'm not going to consider this home with the warped flooring, but I'd like to know how to spot any other signs of problems so I can be on the alert in the future.

I have just purchased a mobile home and it too has a definite smell. Being a first time seasonal owner, I assumed it was becuase it was closed up most of the time. But The smell never seems to completely leave. What do you know about mold and how do I determine if mine has it
