Chilly end....Help

Post by angelnstix » Mon Dec 08, 2003 10:13 pm

We are experiencing a huge air temperature drop in one end of our home. It is the opposite end that our furnace is located. We checked the master bath and noticed an exposed hole around the pipes, insulated it and we still have the cold end of the home. Anyone have this problem?? Any suggestions? Our registers for the heater are open and blowing hot air. Strange....Any input is very welcome. angelnstix By the way, our home is a Fleetwood, if that helps.

If you have adjustable vents...close or adust the vents near the furnace..and make sure those on the end are wide open..

Keep adjusting until you get an even air flow through the whole home..

Just so happens I have a Fleetwood with the same problem. However, I had that same problem with my both of my stick built homes. I'm new to the mobile home -just 2 months and I thought I would bring up this matter to my dealer for help.

I tried adjusting the vents, it did not help. :( Thanks for the advice. It is frustrating. Especially when you get out of the shower...BRRRRRR!!!!! Peggy if you find out anything let me know. I think I will call Fleetwood and see what they have to say. Thanks!

I have the same problem in an 1982 Fleetwood single-wide. The gas furnace repairman came out and said that if we closed more than one vent in the house
it would mess up the whole furnace. ???
