in terms of quality of construction, which is better, norris or rutledge? also, about the option of jets in the luxury tub, what is the quality of the motor, how long have they been an option, and how long do they last?

I will leave the brand comparison to others with more knowledge of these two..

The bath jets have been available for about 10 years...You will have to ask the dealer about the warantee on the motors...Some manufacturers use famous brand names..others do not...just remember this is NOT a hot tub...With no internal water heater the water gets cold rather quickly...Also if the tub is large...be sure to have a 50 gal water heater to have enough hot water to fill the tub enough to use the jets..

You can have these retrofitted later in any bath tub...
