Giles (Jiles?) Homes

I'd like some information on Giles or Jiles HOmes. I think they're manufactured somewhere around Knoxville, Tennessee, but not sure. the two models I looked at were very nice, but very inexpensive, which makes me suspicious. Anybody out there know anything about this company?

I am no expert in the industry, but I believe Giles Homes are out of Alabama. They are what I would call a low-end to mediocre home, at best. Look into Horton or Clayton Homes, both are winners in my book, but that is from personal and previous exprerience.

I looked at the APlus Homes on Clinton Highway that sells the Giles Homes. I'm sorry, but I was not impressed with them. My mom was with me and she knocked on the interior bathroom wall and could not find a stud.

There was not any handles on the cabinets and one of the homes we looked at had a big hole at the door where the door knob had gone into the wall.

Good luck in your search. I went across the street and purchase my home from the Fleetwood site.
