Cost estimates

Hello,

Can anyone give me their experiences with what they paid to have a basement built,a septic system installed and a well drilled?

My wife and I are really considering buying a new mh and having it placed on a basement. The land we are looking at has been perc approved and will require both a well and septic system, and Im just trying to get a total picture of what the total costs may be.

Hello Rob,

This is a rough estimate but a basement will run between $10 to $15K a septic wiill be around $3,500 and drilling a well will be around $4,500 to $6,500. I would estimate between $22,000 to $27,000 for the entire project.

The wife and I have been pricing the basement part of your question. Based upon a 2000 sq. ft. home , a basement was going to cost between $15K and & 21k depending on a poared basement wall, block wall or a pre-formed basement wall ( the most expensive)

Thanks for the information Bill. We are looking @ around 1,700 square feet. One question for you, what are the main differences between those types of basements? Is one much better then the other?
