Is it good to have earthquake insurance? I've checked around
and it is expensive and the deductiable is like $18,000. I figured
it you have earthquake bracing (I think) then why should you carry
earthquake insurance. Could someone address the issue?
Thanks Much

Re: Earthquake Insurance
Natasha, The best and cheapest earthquake insurance is to live in a earthquake resistant home to begin with. A form that has tensegrity is struturally stable. The only inherently stable form is the triangle, and a pyramid with its four triangular faces is one of the strongest forms you can build. There are very few people who offer such a structure. http://dehsigner.tripod.com/ is a site where you can see this application which will withstand 8.5 earthquakes and 250 mph winds.
