Homestead Homes

I have purchased Randy's book and it has helped. But I am interested in knowing about a Homestead Manufactured Home (aka Cavalier) here in Central Florida. It looks like a great price for the amount of space and the quality. Has anyone purchased a Homestead and are you happy with it or does anyone know much about this home and manufacturer. How are their responses to problems? and is it a good price for the value?

We found a homestead home yesterday that we liked (3235) - we were pretty much sold on a 1700sqft Clayton until we saw the Homestead. We were quoted 64,9K for a 2330 sqft 32x80, with all the bells and whistles, setup, delivered, air, etc. (Though we were told if we ordered directly, Homestead has added more features like a flat top stove at no additional cost.)

Homestead is a company under the Cavalier umbrella. Here is their website: http://www.hmstead.com
