Champion vs Silvercrest
Champion vs Silvercrest
We're looking at Champion Homes and Silvercrest Homes to put in a Central Coast park. The price difference is quite incredible. Does anyone know why Silvercrest is sooo much more expensive or opinions on are they worth it?? Thx in advance.
Re: Champion vs Silvercrest
Hello Clinc,
Silvercrest is one of the best builders in the nation. They are worth it and you'll be glad 5 to 10 years latter after the home has appreciated in value. Champion is not bad if you stick with the upper-end models, which are not that much less then Silvercrest.

Re: Champion vs Silvercrest
Thx again, We were looking at Champion Southwood Mod#523 or Infiniti #223 and Silvercrest Westwood Model 67. Do you know if those are low or hi Champion models? The basic price difference of Silvercrest/Champion wasn't great, but the dealer of Champion in Paso Robles was so much nicer. The
Champion price would include pull-out of old unit and transportation of new one within 100 miles of the dealer location. The Silvercrest dealer was quite sniffy and said of course there would be a charge for transportation from Woodland CA ( not the dealer location- the dealer is only about 20 miles away ) to Pacific Grove and of course there would be an additional charge for the pull-out if they would do it. etc, etc. We felt they were trying to gouge for every dollar. Left a bad taste. But with your comments about the quality, maybe we'll try a different dealer.
