coachmen home

Hi, I recently found a 15 year old MH that I just loved. I looked at the info plate on the inside door panl of the circuit breaker box. The following info was on it
Date of Manufacture...1/18/88
Manufacturer model and design Numbers were CP2924 and J82676 A & B
Coachmen Housing of Lewiston, PA
After going through it, I loved the layout. This is in the Bufffalo N.Y. area, and we had a huge amount of snow, yet where a lot of the stick built homes had roof damage, leaks etc, none was evident in this home. No signs of any leaks etc. in the bathrooms or kitchen areas. The home appears to be in excellent shape. Can anyone tell me any info on this brand of home?

Mary, Coachmen used to own Marlette Homes of Lewiston, Pa. They then sold it to Schultz from there they sold it to Oakwood homes. Good luck

Hi, Mary

I can't tell you much about Coachman homes in general, but my mom has a 1978 Coachman she bought used & remodeled about 10 years ago that's as solid as a rock. The deck is plywood, everything inside is wood, not plastic. My 1981 Windsor is in pieces and I envy her all over the place.
