lifestages series from Fleetwood
lifestages series from Fleetwood
Still waiting to hear from anuone who has seen any of this series of homes from Fleetwood. Supposed to be coming out with all 36" interior doors and 18" high outlets.
Re: lifestages series from Fleetwood
Hello barb,
Sorry I haven't seen this series yet, but I am looking forward to hearing from those of you that might have some thoughts about this new series. There is one company that already does this but they are located in Washington State called Valley Quality Homes.

Yes, Valley Quality home specs sound great but unfortunately, their dealers seem all in the eastern portion of the state of WA. We are interested in the Fleetwood series because we are about mid-way between Woodland,WA and Woodburn, OR, Presume that at least one of these factories will produce the Lifestaages series.
Re: Valley Quality Homes
Hello Barb,
You really need to look at the Valley Homes up close. Valley delivers throughout Washington and Oregon at no charge. Fleetwood homes are nice but Valley is a couple of notches above then when it comes to home construction and I think you'll find the prices to be similar. E-mail me at [email protected] and I would like to chat with you more about the possibility of looking at a Valley Home.

Re: Valley Quality Homes
Hi Randy,
We too are looking at getting a lifestages home for our beach proprty on the puget sound. Since this will be our final home, the features seem to make a lot of sense. You should download the features from the fleetwood site and check them out. I think fleet wood is going to sell a lot of these homes. They just seem to make good sense for a final home.
I am currently working in Saudi Arabia so I am doing my research via the web. We plan on taking a vacation back in Washington in late March to see what we need to do to start building.
Why do you feel Fleetwood is not a high quality home? Do you think I could get the same features in a Valley home?
I also have a question about a particular seller we have found on the WEB. They are Washington Homes Center, (WWW.Washhomes.com) in Shelton Washington. They seem to be full service which is what we will need as the site needs to be preped, road needs to be put in, a well dug, and septic installed. Have you heard anything good or bad about this company???
Thanks,
Cliff
P.S. I just got your book "How to buy..." today in the mail and have already finished it. Great Job! Lots of stuff we had not considered yet.

Re: Valley Quality Homes
Hello Cliff,
Fleetwood is appealing to the entry-level and mid-range buyers. Most of their homes are not in the upper-end. I do agree with you that Lifestage is an upper-end home but for the most part Fleetwood is not going after that market. That is why I state that Fleetwood is average in construction, based on what the majority of their homes come standard with.
Washington Home Center has been around for a long time. I have chatted with the owner but do not know how they treat their customers. I have not heard anything bad about the company.
Valley is a better constructed home then Fleetwood and it would be worth your while to check them out. But I also understand that you can up-grade the Fleetwood to a Valley. The Fleetwood probably has a better look to it but that's my opinion. Good luck.
