We moved into our brand new Golden West home in April and we are located in a park in Southern California. What kind of news are you looking for?

Well, how do you like it?
What one did you get?
What size?
Any problems?

Any kind of news will do. I am going in to talk with one of their financial advisors today.

Hi Miller,
I don't know if ours has a name, it is model # GW5600... I think. It is a 26' x 56' , 3 bedroom, 2 bath, dining room, den, living room, kitchen and morning room. So far we absolutly love it. I guess the one thing I really like is that everything is thought of so it really is ready to move into without you having to do much of anything. All the windows have mini blinds and window treatments, the bathrooms have medicine cabinets, lights are all there, gutters etc. We have not had any problems. There were a few minor things that had to be adjusted or cleaned up but all in all we are really happy. What state are you in? I'm just curious. We went through a dealer in So Cal and the actual GW factory is in Perris, CA. I did not know GW had financial advisors. Our financing is through Chase.

I live in Oregon, but can either ship from Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. I will most likely have it shipped from Oregon, or get the one that's on the lot. The only thing I don't like about the one on the lot is that it does not have tape and texture throughout, something that I must have to make it feel like a home.

From the looks of it I am looking at a step down from yours. Mine would be the GE401F @ 1080sq. 3 bed, 2 bath.

Hi Miller,
Ours does have the tape and textured through out and I love that. Good luck to you and let me know if you have any more questions.

Hello Miller,

Make sure it's taped and textured through out. I would also look at Fuqua if you live in Oregon.
