New Fleetwood home

Post by Miller » Mon Aug 13, 2001 7:40 pm

Hi, it's me again. Today I ran into the Fleetwood dealer again to see what was new. He just got in the 2002 sheets and plans and saved one just for me that was in my budget.

The home is a Fleetwood Hickory Hill 4383B SLE @ 1026 s.f.

I would be getting the first one built in the factory so it would essentially be a promo. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Think it would be a good home being the first off the line? I know I would pay special attention to the first home off the line if it were my factory, but I don't know about them.

A few funny things about this model are the options.

Here is a partial list of extra options that I found amusing:
Detachable hitches
Guest bath shower head
Carpet in guest bedrooms

As if anyone would not want those. hehehehe

So here is where I sit on the price.

$37,000 includes:
carpet wall to wall
Gas pack
Tape and texture all
A/C
D/W
Fridge
60 inch shower stall in M/B
"Detachable Hitches"
And I will maybe let my guests suffer without a shower head, lol, NOT.

Give me some feedback! Please :-)

Oh yea, that's installed too. Without the park pack of $8000

Hello Miller,

I would encourage you to pass on this one. The first modle will probably have many problems. The old saying is still true today. " What you pay is what you get."
