I found a website (fleetwoodwholesaler.com) that has seemingly low prices on the large MH that we are looking for. $42,724 for a 32x80. From what I can understand from the site, this is the home only, transportation, all setup and skirting is your responsibility. Is it worth the $$ you save to do it all yourself? What would you say about Fleetwood Homes in general? The home I really want is a Fortune home (same size) with many upgrades at $71,000. Quite a difference. What do you think?

RE: Fleetwood Wholesale
I was interested in this company too so I did a search and found out they are from Milledgeville, GA and they are listed with their BBB since Feb 2001 or it might have been Jan 2001. Anyway, it said on the BBB website that they are listed in good standing and also go by the name of C & H Housing. (chhousing.com) They only thing I was concerned about was they stated on the website that you need to send a deposit. Did they mention this to you? I wonder if this is normal. If someone is going through their financing and they require a deposit it makes me wonder. Maybe it's nothing. Have you figured how much it will cost for the delivery, setup and AC? I know it will be different in my area but can you tell me how much more it costs for these for your area? It just seems like a big difference in price from what the dealers charge. We looked at mobiles this last weekend and this guys prices are much less. Thanks for the info.
RE: Fleetwood Wholesale
hello. we are new to buying any type of house, and are seriously considering a manufactured one. so i am checking out every kind of information i can find. i noticed that you talked about fortune homes, checked them out, and they look great! i found a website for them in florida, but was wondering if you happened to know if they were nation wide and where i could go to find them. i live in seattle, washington, and have so far, not found anthing listed. i could be looking for it wrong though. i notice that a lot of mh listings, etc, are listed under the name of the company that sells particular brands and not the brand names themselves. any information or ideas would be great.
thanks!
