RE: the comment about buying a home at MH shows. How do you find out where and when these shows are held, and how often are they held?

I am more than just interestedi n this information as well.

Seems that it is a "closed mouth" subject as far as dealers are concerned, they don't want the information to leak to the general public etc.

Is someone willing to share?

If my MH shows you mean factory or industry shows, they are not opened to the publlic but to the retailers who sell the homes to consumers. Allthough some manufacturers sell to the public through a company owned retailer network most manufactuers sell to retailers who sell to the public. Generally speaking the public cannot buy directly from the manufacturer.

Some industry shows over the years have opened their doors, for display only, to the general public. But that sort of display is not a selling situation, you must buy from a retailer, that is the system that has been developed over the years.
