Karsten/Solitaire Website Info

I live in Austin, Texas and have begun the research process on purchasing a manufactured home. What I am hearing is that Karsten & Solitaire are 2 of the most recommended houses based on quality. Does anyone have their website address. I have searched and been unsuccessful with locating information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cynthia, The address for solitaire Homes is www.solitairehomes.com and they make one of the best homes on the market today and as well as the Karsten Homes and no one could touch their customer service at all. Very strict company building quality homes and they make sure they build the home right the first time. I was just there on July 5 and viewed their new home which has 6' pitched roof with 9' interior ceiling height with wrap around porch and very appealing exterior siding. The home has real wood floors and 4" ceiling molding thru out. Very impressive home and a residential style. 2x6 sidewalls, 2x4 interior walls, 1/2" sheetrock tape and textured. They are gaining reputation in the Southwest for the quality homes they are building and the customer service they provide after the sale. Infact Karsten Homes just opened another factory in Stayton, Oregon and they provide the best service in the industry. The Solitaire also uses a 2x6 sidewalls and 2x3 cheater studs with 1/2" sheetrock which makes the wall look like a real 2x4. They use real plywood floors, plywood undersheathing before the hardboard siding is applied over the walls. Very good home and solid just like the Karsten Homes. www.thekarstenco.com Good Luck!
