any help for Pacfic NW first time buyers?

We are looking to buy quality for retirement on our own property. Palm Harbor and Silvercrest ...
top choices here. But can't seem to find any reliable comments on complaints, etc. for
these brands. Your forum seems centered in South/or Southeast. What about us up here
in the left hand corner? Thanks ...b

Hello Barb,

I live in Washington State and the manufacturers I would recommend are: Valley Quality Homes sold in Washington only. Fuqua Homes, Palm Harbor, Silvercrest and Marlette. Hope this helps.

Barb, Another great company to look at is the Karsten Homes of Staton, Oregon this company recently opened their doors in that region. Karsten Homes really pays attention to every detail and construction of their homes. Karsten Homes number one priority is their customer service to their customers. They have been in the manufacturing industry since the early 1960 and their name used to be GoldenWest Homes until Oakwood bought them out. Good luck!

might be worth looking into repoed, or pre-owned himes also.. lots of really nice ones out there, even 1999-2000 models of all manufacturers....

try 503-364-6550 in OR if you have questions, and I will look through my lists for you
