Franklin Homes

I'm looking at purchasing a Franklin Home. They seem to be well built home. I would like some feed-back from any one who owns one. Good and bad would be helpful.
Thanks

I do not own a Franklin but I have conducted a quality audit in their plant in AL. It is a very clean operation and I noted that they build a limited number of floor plans. Limited floorplans and color choices always helps the manufacturing process run smooth. We call these "cookie cutter homes", but that is not intended to be derogatory. If you think about someone like Horton or Fleetwood that run lots of floorplans the people on their assembly lines are more likely to make a mistake due to the complexity involved in running many different floorplans. I can tell you from experience that you would be hard pressed to find a manufacturing defect associated with the Franklin homes. The people on their lines just don't have to deal with as many variations. Their are other manufacturers that build like Franklin, but since you asked specifically - there you go.

Hope this helps.
