Hello Mr & Mrs. Harris,

Many sales centers will be able to direct you to a real estate agent or properties in the area. Check out 5 or 6 different retail centers and you'll find what your looking for.

Ms. Champion,

To answer your questions:

HOW DOES ONE GO ABOUT FINDING THE APPROPRIATELY REAL ESTATE LAND PROPERTY TO PUT A MANUFACTURED HOME ON?

1.)As a former licensed RE salesman in NC, you would try several things. Look in the RE classifieds, Sunday Edition, for acreage in and around the area you where you would like to live. Most ads will say if the property can accept a mobile or manufactured home.

2.)Contact a RE Broker who represents only the buyer and work with them to find you the acreage you need. Their commission is normally paid by the seller. Some will want a fee, also.

WOULD WE NEED A MH DEALER, ETC., PLUS A REAL ESTATE AGENT OR ARE THERE DEALERS WHO SPECIALIZE IN THIS OPTION FOR MH HOME BUYERS.

Cannot say for Michigan, but in NC some mobile home dealers work with local realtors to provide land/home packages. They or the realtor can suggest financing also.

WE ARE NEW AT BUYING MANUFACTURED HOUSING AND AT BUYING LAND.

3.) Research the internet for mobile home info. Some sites which may prove helpful are: The first one below is especially helpful to first time buyers.
