Vindale serial number

I need to find the serial number of my 1974 Vindale single wide mobile home.
Can you help?

For a 1974 the serial number was impressed onto the top of the hitch ..Usually the hitches are gone or the are so rusted over they are impossible to read..Of course the number will be on the tile records.....sometimes in the tax local tax office and often on insurance records...If all is not available talk to your local title office about the procedure for assigning a new serial number and title...
