Problems in refinaning

I Am Have a real problem in refinancing my manufactured home! We where approved for a loan, went thourgh the whole process ( apprisal, title search, closing date etc

Yes, I do remember problems with financing single wides... There were banks who wouldn't even give an oiginal loan on a single. Who holds your note now? Your credit Union is always a good choice , If they do MH Loans. Being the home is on Property, I am surprised you'd have problems. Why not go with your existing Lender? Have you tried Chase? Or NBD? Vanderbilt out of Tennesee may be one to check too. As well as Bank One.

Hi, I am on a Contract fot Deed, so I am surpose to have this refianced in my name after four years, and I thought that since the rates were low I would go ahead and try! I don't belong to a credit union Have already tried Chase But not NBD What is that? I have called about 50 different places now. I have even wrote to the Governor of Virgina to complain about this something needs to be done!

NBD is National Bank of Detroit, I know they do or did do MH Loans in States other than Michigan. Vanderbuilt is also an option, as long as Credit rating is good. Who else have you tried? I' go with someone who specializes in MH.... I don't think you can get a deed can you on Property? Here in Mi. It has be a BOCA in order to get a deed. HUD homes do not qualify, Thought that was Federal. But, Lord knows I've been wrong before! Good Luck. Although I Loved selling MH.... Finance is my passion! It was like a challenge to get some deals bought! Keep trying!

Thanks for the input, Yes I can Get a deed it is just being held in escrow until we can get financeing. I have tried on line for mobile home finaceing, I have called about 75 to 100 different mortgage company all around and still nothing. They all use to do single-wides but now they all say that single-wides are to much of a rick and thats why they stopped financeing them! Keep me in mine if you come up with anybody let me know

I think you should run through the lenders who specialize in manufactured homes and listed themselves on this site..Go to this link..then shop around..

Have you tried VHDA (Virginia Housing Development Authority)? Go to their website www.VHDA.com I also live in VA BTW.

Thanks to hte both of you those are two I haven't tried! I have tried ones who say they fiance manufactured home but they only do DOUBLE-WIdes

The loan institution that Was called " Green Tree " Will finance any thing,,,, MH, Boats, ETC!!!!! I knew several who had went there, About all the dealers here in Indiana use them,,, But I know nothing about them,,, Do some carefull checking before you sighn on the dotted line,,,,

Greentree was sold to Conseco Insurance Co...Conseco filed bankruptcy...Finance division was sold at auction by the bankruptcy court...They will reopen as Greentree and might do a limited amount of finance...but not yet..
