Home Improvement Loan

Hello,
I'd like to know if me and my husband can get a home improvement loan on our modular home. We purchased this home in 1998, and we have already taken out a home equity loan as well. Morgage companies constantly tell us that they do not work with modular homes.

If you truly have a modular home..your can qualify for 2nd mortgages...or home improvement loans from many different mortgage companies...but..most likely your home is actually a manufactured home...Lenders might have different rules for a manufactured home...Of course...1st, 2nd and home improvement loans cannot be more than the value of the home in any case....Of course the lender will want to be sure you qualify for all the payments you have..

your right, we do have a manufactured home,because I just check with the tax assesors office to see how our home is listed.
