I am confused....Your subject line mentions Lifestyle Commodore....Fleetwood does have a series with a similar name..Fleetwood's Lifestages series ...Texas has great web resources for searching info on manufactured homes..Go here and you can find our official info...Your home is most likely NOT a Commodore unless it is very old...They have not been in TX for some time..
http://mhweb.tdhca.state.tx.us/mhweb/title_view.jsp
Also...IBITS will show you how to find the serial number on the home..or how to get it from HUD...Go here..
http://www.ibts.org/faq_consumer.htm
Of course it is on the title...on the cross member of the frame and on the data plate...It is also inside the owners manual on the cards that are supposed to be mailed in when ownership changes..often local building or tax officials have it on their records..Most often insurance companies also have the number...

Often the same model name is used by more than one manufacturer, but the HUD code requires that each manufacturer indicate within their serial number and abbreviation as to who the manufacturer is, and then the state in which it was built.
If the case of Fleetwood, it would be indicated as GAFL, showing built in Georgia by Fleetwood Homes.
