I-Beam

Urgently Need 4-feet of an M12x10.8 I-beam made of A36 Structural Steel. The beam is 12" tall, about 31/4" wide, and about 1/4" thick. I need it to replace a bent section of the beam under my double wide mobile home.

Robert, How badly bent is this I-beam and is this home already set? Is the bent beam causing the home to be unlevel? The home has floor joists above that I-beam. The I-beam is only to support the floor. If it is not pushing the floor up, I would not mess with it. If a pier goes under that section of beam, you can relocate the pier to either or both sides of the bad section. You could do more harm by cutting out and welding in a new piece of steel. If you feel you must fix it, go to a mobile home dealer. They may have tongue made of this steel laying around. Also, be sure to have a "fire watch" while it's being welded, it's touching the wood floor joists above it.
