Need Certified Engineer to inspect trailer tie downs

I am in the process of purchasing a trailer from a private owner. The loan company in Ohio that I am using is requiring me to get a certified Engineer to inspect the trailer tie downs. I do not know how to find one. I am looking for one in the New Port Ritchie area. Any help on how to find certified Engineer would be appreciated.

Call a builder or architect, or a civil engineering firm. They could steer you in the right direction, I'm sure.

Call a local dealer and ask who they use for FHA inspections...This should satisfy your bank..
