VIN Number location for Marshfield

I have a 1985 Marshfield 24 x 68 double wide. I need to locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number as we are in the process of selling the home. Could you please tell me where to look for this. I cannot seem to find an information on the status of Marshfield manufacturer. Thank you.

The VIN is on the data plate inside the home, as well as on the backing plate, behind the hitch.

A new FHA condition is to prove that unit has not moved since it left the dealer and placed on land. I have a home that was manufactured in 1977 and the seller does not have any documentation. Seller states he is the original owner and placed the home there directly. I have search all public records, and since Title was Eliminated, DVM does not have records any longer. Our state (WA) does not require records past 7 years.

I was wondering if there was another way, maybe with the VIN # to trace unit. I can not find even a dealer who recognized the make and model.

First place I would be looking is the county tax records.....I am sure this seller had to pay some kind of taxes to the local government....Also..original building permits might be useful as well...Would be nice if seller kept a copy....
