my antiquated furnace maybe???
Re: my antiquated furnace maybe???
Sounds like the original to me. Miller would have been the original oil burning furnace. And in the late 70's Miller was owned by Lear Seigler (today Miller is made by Nordyne).
It is 80,000 BTU, that's the 80 in the model number.

Re: my antiquated furnace maybe???
I'm looking for a conversion kit (natural gas to LP) for a furnace in my son-in-law's mobile home, Furnace is old but firebox is in good shape and the rest should work fine. I'm having a contractor go through it but he is having difficulty finding a kit or something to change the orifaces on the burners. The furnace is a Lear Seigler
Model AGC-80. It says type B and has a label stating input 80000 btu and output 64000 btu.

Re: my antiquated furnace maybe???
Most LP Gas companies have these for all types of furnaces...the orfice may well already be in the furnace...hope the cold is a few weeks away..Good Luck..
Re: my antiquated furnace maybe???
The other orficice is generally in a small cloth bag tied inside the furnace. If this is not the case, a qualified gas fitter will pean over the brass officice, and then re-drill the hole with a small hand held bit (brass is very soft) to the correct size.
