Park Evictions?

Post by T.J. » Sun Sep 04, 2005 6:18 pm

We currently live in a mobile home park in Florida which isn't the greatest, but choices were limited after hurricanes. We were sent a notice stating we were in violation of park rules and regulations by not keeping up the neat and clean appearance of the exterior of our home.We do need to paint which we will do within the 7 days, but the the notice is vague and we're not sure if they could find some small flaw and evict us according to the statute. Our home is an older home and we have no place to transport it to. We have also been told this is a way for them to seize our home and make more money by renting it out. Would like to know if this is possible.

I manage a large community in Florida, when i send out a 7 day notice this is the only thing that i want done and that is after i have sent several 3 day notices to wash your home or paint if stains remain. I do not want to evict anyone over a matter like this and i surely do not want rentals. So talk to your manager and get it in writing what they expect of you. Maybe you are listening to gossip go staight to the manager and get the answers you need. We always try to get the owners of their homes to keep them clean and neat and not only their homes but also their homesites.
