Sunshine homes

Post by David Wangnoss » Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:11 pm

We have researched a lot MH homes and right now we are leaning towards a Sunshine home due to the heavy duty quality of construction. Anyone have any views on the Sunshine line out there? Also has anyone experienced problems with the utility room being on the end and having to go full length of home with heat and hot water? Thanks so much.

No Sunshine home, but our last home had the A/C and water heater at one end. We had a 28x80 and it took a long time for the hot water to reach the other end. Turn it on, go to the bathroom, get your clothes, etc., etc. If your most used "water" room is near it it's fine. Otherwise it's rather annoying. Regarding the a/c and heat...the other end was always hot or cold, but this is fixable. Get a booster or blower or have the vents semi closed to open from the unit to the other end of the house. Just my 2 cents.

Never heard of Sunshine, but Southern Energy homes are well made.
