I paid $116,000 for THIS?

I did, and I hope I end up feeling it was a wise buy.

I live in northeast Ohio, and my new home is a 28X52 Redman New Moon Elite. The $116,000 covers everything: house, 24X24 garage, gutters (not shown), crawlspace, septic, driveway, utilities, 2.08 acre lot, etc, etc

It's not my dream home, but it's loads better than the 1987 singlewide I had in a noisy, crowded, horribly managed manufactured home community.

That's very nice. I LOVE that kitchen! The only thing I DON'T like is that snow on the ground. ( It's 68 degrees here in Georgia!)

I will be buying a Palm Harbor "Fullest House",28x76......so far into it my price is around 110,000,on 2.5 acres.Including all the land improvements, brick underpinning etc....the only reason Im getting it at this price is I find a model on the lot (last years model), and he wants (needs) to bring the new one on the lot, not to mention the taxes being paid on it. The base price on the home was 57K,
I would also be interested to know what your payments are on this home as well.

Enjoy it...it looks very nice!

I think it was about 13 degrees outside when I snapped that pic. The snow was nothing - just a dusting. But, the eight inches we got not long after that was a bit of a problem...

I've only been paying interest on the construction loan so far, but my monthly payment will probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of $820. That's $103,000 financed - plus property taxes, homeowner's insurance, and PMI.

Very nice home! I really like the wood trim around the wall bases.
