heat vent volume

A friend of mine has a 28x60 fleetwood and the blower on the furnace went out. They replaced the blower but one side of the double wide has good heat volume and the other has very little. They told him it was normal to have more on the side the furnace is on. He understands there could be some difference but my question is should there be that much difference? He said if you laid something on one side it would blow it off and you could barely feel it come out the other.

Assuming they replaced it with the same size motor on the same speed setting, it sounds like the duct has come loose from one side.

Check your heat duct crossover. if it is laying on the ground or has a lot of bends, that could be your problem.
The HUD code requires "balanced air distrubution".
