wiring confusion

i was wondering what year they started putting copper wire in to mobile homes because we just bought a 1968 home and i dont know much about wiring and how to go about changing it

Copper wire became exclusive in 1977....before that some were copper..some were not...

Actually most home this old were copper...all you have to do is check the ends of the wire where is connects to the switches..or at the box...be sure you turn the electric off before you venture in...

Best would be to have an electrician check it out for you...much safer and if it needs changing..you will need an electrician..This is not a do it your self project..
