I recently bought a mobile home and I did not get a title for it. The bank could not find it from the previous owner who had a loan out on it. and the previous owner could not find it. I received a loan from the bank to purchase it, but i can't get homeowners insurance until i know the year it was built and the make and model. Is the 1902918 # the Serial number? and how can i find out when it was built?

The bank should(would) have done a title search on it when they did your loan.Ask them why they didn't.

Try going to your states title office..most can search on the previous owners name or address..Also check with your county taxing authority..they usually have this info..

You need to find the title...it is the only accepted form of ownership in most states..

Also; Have you checked inside each closet and/or in each cabinet for the manufacturers' label?
