Alternative Financing

I have not been very successful at obtaining financing through any of the companies that offer financing for manufactured homes due to credit issues. I did eventually get approved for two repossessed homes with 20% down - one of which was sold, and the other home is in storage (and it's nearly impossible trying to find an available lot in a park in Maryland). I was told by the lender, that due to our credit, our information would not be reviewed for any other homes. We would have to accept the one they were offering or take nothing at all. I had read that seller financing or assuming someone's mortgage may be an option. Lease with option to buy is also something I'd be interested in doing. Do you have any suggestions on how I could find sellers willing to use one of these methods? Are there lenders out there (other than Tammac) that would approve someone with damaged credit.
