Date of construction changes

I have read numerous dates when the Federal construction guidelines were changed. Can you tell me what year the changes really went into effect?

The hud guidelines took effect in late 1976. The windzones were changed along with some other significant changes in 1994.

I have read that additional changes were made in 2002. Is that correct?

Smoke detectors in the hall ways for each bedroom AREA were changed to inter-connected smoke alarms in each bedroom and kitchen living space on Sep. 16, 2002.

Go to HCD.gov.org and there you will find Titiling and Registration, if u have the Decal number you will get information if not you can call the numbers listed. Good luck.
