Everyone talks about 3/4 plywood for flooring. I have not read any discussions about the desired thickness for exterior walls and the desired thickness for roof decking.
What is your opinion.

1/2 inch OSB or plywood is the norm.

Best exterior walls will be 2x6 on 16 inch centers...Also on top of the roof should be felt..then the best shingles are 30 year fiberglass..Three tabbed and hand nailed (as opposed to 2 tab and staples) is even better..

You might consider buying one of the books in the bookstore here..they cover most of this...but feel free to ask here..ask..ask..ask..
