I am selling a manufactured home. But before I can close on the deal the bank on the buyers side needs the blueprints for my home. I cannot find them anywhere.

The bank needs them because they need to make sure it is HUD approved.

My home is a Rollohome, by Mashfield. I think that it is a 1975 or 1985.

Please help,

Sharon, if this home is 75 it IS NOT "HUD" approved HUD didn't get into manufactured housing until june of 76,
however if you have a set-up manual that came with the home ,the building specs. should be in it.

The original title should have the year model...All homes titled 1977 and later are HUD homes...Also...there should be a red HUD lable on the side of the home...that should be all the bank needs..the appraisor is supposed to list the HUD numbers on his/her appraisal..

Also..all HUD homes have a data plate on the wall somewhere in the home..It will look like this..

http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/mhs/dataplate.pdf

There is a proceedure to get HUD verification about HUD tags...but you need the HUD numbers to do so..Go to..

Good Luck..

P.S...if the home is a 1975 model..It is not built to the code and might not qualify for this financing..

I am working with a friend who purchased a used mobile home. He is fixing it so that he can live in it. The information on it is thats its 14x70, 980 sq ft, serial number RT43095 and the State of Tx number is TXS0521167 and the word "Brandon." Brandon could be/mean Brandon, Tx I don't know. We could use a copy of the blueprints or something to help us. Where do we go so that we can get this information? Any information would be greatly appreicated. Don't know the year of manufactured. Thanks.
