Does anyone know about Giles homes?

I am considering purchasing a Giles home, but I do not know much about this manufacturer. I was just wondering if anybody else has had any experience with them, and if they are a quailty home. I am looking at a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 16X80 model. Thanks very much.

Giles is a relatively small manufacturer, located in Tazewell, Tn. They have been around for years, and enjoy a good reputation in the industry.

Like the previous posting stated they are a small manufacturer. I have seen really nice ones with a lot of flash. The flash can be misleading to cover up lower end construction. Most manufactures can build the home to suit your needs. Questions to ask are: Do you use 2x4 construction at the marriage wall? Are the floor joists on 16 inch centers? and several others. How big is the home and how much do they plan on selling the home for? The old saying "You get what you pay for". A cheap price does not necessarily mean you are getting a good deal.
