it seems to me that in the last 3 months all my plumbing has leaked, burst or seized up...i have heard that there is litigation regarding this plumbing....can anyone help me find out who to contact regarding this problem?

to see if you actually have polybutylene pipe installed. If you do and you want to

As I understand it, you have 14 years after the plumbing was originally installed
in your home to be a part of the CLA.

Polybutylene is not currently used in production. The new generation of PEX, which is cross linked poly is readily available, often used for repairs, and does not appear to have any of the short comings of the original product. PEX is a translusent white in color, and will work with the previously installed polybutylene.
