Disconnecting Sections/Electrical System

If a manufactured home is to be shipped in sections, what is the proper way to reconnect the electrical system between the 2 halves of the home? Is there a type of "one-plug" system that can just be plugged in between the sections, or do individual wires have to be reconnected at junction boxes?

That is, can the electrical system of both halves be connected with one plug (and if so, what type?), or do all the wires have to be run from one half of the house (where the power comes into the house) to the other half?

Dan, Some homes have the plug type connections others you make a stndard joint in the junction box under the home....even if you have the plug type ,I would recommend you set a junction box and make the standard connections....this is better and less problems down the road.

I have a frost heave 1/2 inch on one side of door on mobile home.Now the back door on an addition has door sticking. Temps have been below zero for past 6 weeks. I have kept heat on at 70 degrees. What can I do?

The temp inside the home has nothing to do with the effects of frost heave on the home. The only solution is have a foundation that is free from effects of frost. That is a footer below the frost line or a slab on gravel that has really good dranage.
It sounds like you better address the situation ASAP as it will only get worse and cause more damage and problems.
