Post by Al Oakes » Mon Jan 12, 2004 7:31 am

I would love to find a manfacture of a MH who puts foam insulation in the home all the way around. Heating a AC are costly now but in the future it will go out of site. along withe these conserns we want to have a tight home that could utlise a air to air heat exchange so we could have lots of fresh air.

Thanks

All manufactured homes have some sort of air/heat exchanger..some are passive systems..others are powered systems..

R-value is the best indicator of insulations effectiveness..

You might want to check out www.energystar.gov The Department of Energy's web site devoted to the most energy savings possible in a home..Good Luck
