Odor coming out of two vents

My family and I have been living in our Patriot home for a little over a year. In the last couple of weeks there has been an odor coming out of one of the vents in the master bedroom and the vent in one of the other bedrooms. The smell is not coming out of any other vents in the house. Also, the smell is very hard to describe, but I can tell you it does not smell musty. Can anybody tell me what might be the problem?

Pull the vent covers up and have someone with a flashlight shine the light down the duct from another room.Use a small mirror to look down the duct.Theres probably something trapped in the duct causing the odor.
