SOFT SPOTS ON FLOOR
SOFT SPOTS ON FLOOR
SHOULD I COVER OVER THE OLD FLOOR OR CUT OUT THE BAD SPOT AND JUST REPLACE THAT. THE HALL HAS SEVERAL SPOTS, THAT WELL TEND TO GO DOWN YOU KNOW, YOU CAN FEEL IT THROUGH THE CARPET..
Re: SOFT SPOTS ON FLOOR
If it were my place, I'd be curious, so likely would cut out the bad spots and replace them with exterior-grade plywood. If it's a place with pressboard flooring, like my old place, moisture control is important. NO carpet in bathrooms!!! That's a holdover from the old days... in my new place I had to pay extra for linoleum!
Re: SOFT SPOTS ON FLOOR
linoleum? Tile or stone is the only way to go!!Installed after the home is set and NOT by the factory or their reps.
