What is involved in owner financing a manufactured home

In process of doing a contract for deed on our 1993 Palm Harbor, set up in a park currently. What is needed to do owner financing? We only owe $19,000 and the purchaser is giving us $10,000 down and will be making payments to us.

Is this like selling a house? Will we need special "settlement" paperwork?

My underwriters for my new home are asking for a HUD 1....we don't even have that.

You should get good advice from an attorney...Maybe the attorney who will close your house..

You will want a contract that meets the requirements of your state...at the same time your attorney can do a HUD-1..This will cost a little now...but might save thousands later...Good Luck
