looking at re-selling man.homes on prop

Hi,

I've been looking at manufactured homes with property being re-sold in WA state. I am very concerned that I won't be building equity this way. The homes seem overpriced by at least $20,000 and an agent told me pricing these homes are like a stab in the dark as there are no effective comparables.....I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't be looking at land and new housing packages from a retailer...however, the mortgage co. that pre-approved me won't give that type of loan......
and frankly, I'm trying to get into something with all costs/down financed....So my questions are: what sources can get me the same type of 2 mortgage 80/20 financing for a new land/house package, if any? And how do I live while the land is being improved and the house is being built. thanks in advance....
