1974 Skyline Mobile Home

Hi there,

In order to get permits for my 1974 Skyline, Buddy that is 24'x'64, I need the original set-up manuals if possible, or at least the floor plan and tie down diagrams. Any ideas where I could get these things? I have the basic state of California approved installation manual, but apparently that is not enough.

You will never be able to get that...Talk to a supervisor in the permit office...The basic state manual should suffice...it is the alternate set up guide if there is no manual available...

Better be careful, many jurisdictions in CA do not allow Manufactured homes over 10 years old to be installed on private property although I have seen them allow it even though it is written in the code as not allowed (maybe an oversight, someone forgot to ask the date of manufacture at the building counter).
