Re: mobil home comparison
Try the bookstore link above and buy this book...well worth the few bucks it costs..
How To Buy A
Manufactured Home
& Save Thousands
Of Dollars
by Randy Eaton
This book is a great primer on what to look for...Manufacturer comparisons are very hard since most manufactuers build many different quality ranges in different parts of the country...but..if you know all you want in your home..you will be able to find good product in your area..
Good Luck

Re: mobil home comparison
Actually, the book you mention only tells of the construction qualities to look for
in any manufactured home, and a good bit of information on how to set up a home.
the book you would want for a model compaison is :

Re: mobil home comparison
I did not mention this book because of its age...Things change very quickly in this industry...What a plant built last year most likly is nothing like what is being built now..
also..most manufacturers build more than 1 line in each plant..all with different specs...the larger manufacturers have as many as 45 different plants..none building the same home..
.That is why I like the other book better...Get a true understanding about features you desire and find a builder in your area offering them...
