I am interested in purchasing a MH and purchasing land to put it on at the same time. I have found TWO parcels of land, side by side, with approximate acreage of 5.3 acres. I found a Fleetwood MH and are dealing with a mortgage company that simply cannot find a comparable setup to rate an appraisal on. They stated that since they cannot find a comp, they cannot estimate the value and, thereby, holding up our funding. How do we get around this? Is it possible for them to appraise the value of the house then separately appraise the value of the land and then combine the two? I have only dealt with one mortgage company at this time. Can you recommend a mortgage company that can work more easily with me? We've been going around with this snafu for about 2 1/2 months and I just want to buy my home! So, I need HELP!
